Pratyusha International Chess Academy (PICA) was founded by Woman Grandmaster (WGM) Bodda Pratyusha, a distinguished chess player from India. Since childhood, Pratyusha has achieved numerous national and international accolades and represented India in the 2016 Chess Olympiad. She was honored by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for becoming the third woman grandmaster from the Telugu states.

Pratyusha has competed in various prestigious events, including the Gibraltar Chess Festival in 2019, where she earned her norms to become a WGM, and the 2016 Chess Olympiad, representing India. She also won the U-18 Asian Championship and has participated in numerous national and international tournaments worldwide. 

PICA is dedicated to sharing Pratyusha’s extensive knowledge and passion for chess. The academy caters to a wide range of students, from beginners to professional players, offering a fun and engaging learning experience. Located in Hyderabad, India, PICA provides a supportive environment for students aiming to excel in chess.
